What year is it?

We reorganized our DVD collection into one case which condenses things down to about 1/6th the space. We went to the park a few days, but mostly it rained this week. It is difficult to go down a slide when it is wet and had a big puddle at the bottom. We tried to find locations in our area which have indoor play spaces and were horrified to learn that this is the primary reason parents get sucked into taking their children (and feeding them) at McDonald's. Paela chose to be awake from 8am to 8pm a few times this week, but has returned to her normal schedule of 7-7 [mostly due to us encouraging her to...otherwise Sunday naps before Church would be nearly impossible because she wouldn't be tired yet].

She says more words now, things she wants like water and down and cracker and outside. Or she will take charge of the situation and just get her shoes and attempt to put them on herself, which she isn't very good at. Rebecca had another job interview for a research place in Menlo Park. Thomas and Paela played together a few times. My brother-in-law Victor would probably like a game we played with Karl and Angela called Pandemic.

There are not many other things we did. I managed to get a mostly completed CV finished and I'm diving into updating my teaching philosophy and syllabi tomorrow. We celebrated Chinese New Year a little early. And twice.
