End of summer

07aug08 044.jpgAfter last week, we decided to get together more for lunches this week. It was a nice treat and we have learned to enjoy how close Rebecca works to home [like that was hard to do...]. Including that we found a new park around the corner from both her work and our apartment, we can make a trip of visiting Rebecca and swinging on the swing.

Paela survived her first day of church without a nap. Lucky for us it was only 2 hours long and she crashed on the trip home, but she managed to be a playful little baby with no fussing -- naps at church are increasingly difficult to obtain.

Rebecca's work put her project out of beta and opened it to the whole company. They have only had a few minor feature adjustments and no major bugs, which is good so far. We'll see what her team does if they really did create a project that doesn't need their constant touch-ups [I already know...my manager wants to get us off this project as soon as possible to start a new one...very fast-paced, this new team of mine].

At home, we often would take our dinner on a picnic. There's a nice spot of grass outside our door -- still in our complex -- which allows for Paela to wander while we enjoy the breeze and cool weather. After Paela went to sleep, Rebecca and I played too much Wii. We started the week buying the complete Lego Star Wars and have played almost every night [gotta enjoy summer while it's still here, right?].
