After Paela is done drinking her milk, she has started to slide off the couch on her own. With Rebecca's help, she has learned very well how to get off the couch on her right side. But, as you can see by the first attempt, her left side isn't as well trained.

She walks. What else is there to say?

For a long time now, Starcat has eaten paper, magazines, and very important documents to get back at us for not feeding her. Or if she's feeling particularly naughty. However, in our attempts to document this bad habit -- for which she knows we get angry -- she would typically run off, fearful of a good spray from the water bottle. This is the first time we caught her.

Open a door? Get a baby running to make her exit. Every time she hears the door open -- even from across the apartment -- she goes running for the chance to play outside. And as luck would have it, we have a nice set of stairs right next to our door. And up, up, up she goes!

Paela will get her pacifier "lost" under her blanket when she's trying to fall asleep. We decided we wanted to make a game out of teaching her to find things in her blanket. Here's a short clip of her looking for things hidden under the blankie.

Paela likes to ride on her car. So she goes zoom zoom zoom. Then, she shows how she likes to share things, as well.

It was one of Rebecca's last maternity leave days, so we went for a nice walk outside with Paela and filmed what she loves to do best: be outside. She runs through the grass, she gets a nice faceplant, she wades in the swimming pool and chases mommy. Ah, it's a good day.

When I'm at the computer desk -- which is right next to the table -- she stands under the table giggling to herself, waiting for me to notice. Then I poke my head under, say "peekaboo" and she laughs herself silly. Here's Rebecca playing the under-the-table game.

It's been a while since we posted a Starcat video. But here's the insane creature attacking the bean bag. She'll do this for hours. She's going to the mental institution.

All babies make good babyzillas. We bought Paela a pile of 100 blocks for cheap. Amazon has a shipping warehouse about a 5 minute drive from our house. Fastest delivery we ever received. Now Paela can chew on the blocks while we play with her toys.
